C.A.R. Pygmy Ministries #7193
The Bayaka forest people, also known as the Bayaka Pygmies, are a hidden people who live in the forests of central Africa.
Being so isolated from other Africans has made them difficult to reach. But an even greater factor hindering the gospel among the Bayaka Pygmies is this people group’s distrust of outsiders. Throughout their history, tall Africans around them have viewed them as less than human and have used them as slaves.
In spite of these and other challenges, the gospel is now firmly rooted in this people group, and churches have been planted.
This project seeks to strengthen the Church among the forest people, providing help not just for them, but also for their outreach. To date, these funds have been used for emergency medical and dental needs, outreach and discipleship materials, and Bible Institute training for Pygmy workers.
Will you help us strengthen God’s work among the remote forest people of Central Africa?
