Refugee Relief #7849

We live in a world where one person is forcibly displaced roughly every two seconds as a result of conflict or persecution (UNHCR, 2020). But the most compelling stories are not found in the global numbers, but in the stories of individuals: an Iraqi family in Erbil, a young Iranian couple in southern Germany, or among the young fellowship of believers of Afghans in Western Asia. The global population is on the move, and God is powerfully working amidst the crises to open the eyes of the displaced to Himself (Acts 17:26-27).

God is calling believers to join Him in caring for the migrants and displaced who have been thrust from their homes and are in need of everything to rebuild their lives – housing and food, relief supplies, emotional healing, and the spiritual truth of real hope in Jesus Christ – in whom we live and move and have our being.

Encompass comes alongside refugees, entering relationships with them and assessing their greatest needs. Through these funds, we are caring for them body, soul, and mind as only the Church can. Please join us in this powerful ministry through prayers and giving.
