Chad and the countries surrounding it are considered least reached. In this nation of over 16 million people, less than half know about Christ. Without an eternal hope, they face a bleak future. They long for peace—and that can only be found in Jesus.

Since the 1990s, the School of Evangelism in Chad has trained hundreds of central Africans in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, resulting in hundreds of new churches and Points of Light throughout Chad and its neighboring countries. 

In 2012, Encompass opened the School of Missiology to provide advanced training for leaders committed to more effective cross-cultural ministry, and in 2021, a second cohort of students graduated with their missions degrees.

Until recently, both schools have operated out of rented facilities in the rural regions of southern Chad. In collaboration with our partners, we reached the strategic decision to relocate them to N’Djamena, one of northern Africa’s most influential cities. 

We believe this decision ensures that future leaders develop a passion for laboring in major metropolitan areas. We have purchased the land and are now seeking funds to renovate existing buildings and begin construction of new ones.
