Ethne Initiative—Africa #8045

In taking the gospel to the least reached, our goal is to train disciples of Jesus who can then continue to share Him in their own countries. Our Ethne Initiative in Africa allows us to partner strategically in prayer and financial support with national church planters in the C.A.R., Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria, and Sudan. 

This project’s name comes from Greek. The word ethne is the plural of ethnos and means “nations”. 

Through our Ethne Initiative in Africa, local evangelists pursue least-reached people groups in their own countries. In most cases, these evangelists have made the difficult choice to move away from their homes, cultures, and languages to live and share Jesus among the least-reached people groups scattered throughout Africa. 

Your gift covers travel and living expenses for these evangelists and church planters, freeing them to advance the gospel among their neighbors who don’t know Jesus.
