Where We’ve Been, Where We Are, Where We Hope To Be

Reflecting on past experiences gives us opportunities to learn, be encouraged, celebrate victories, and gain motivation for current and future initiatives.
Where we’ve been
Since 1900, Encompass has sent hundreds of workers across the globe. Though we’re no longer in many of those original locations, that’s actually cause for celebration! We generally conclude ministry in an area once our work there is completed. That means many came to Christ, churches were planted, local leaders were trained and established, churches were multiplied, and the gospel became readily available. Victories like these give us motivation to continue reaching the least-reached.
Where we are
Currently, Encompass global workers serve in various locations around the world. Our desire is to replicate previous Kingdom successes so that these areas go from least-reached to reached. The gospel is being proclaimed through church-planting and various wholistic outreach ministries. But we need more workers to expand the reach of our currently-deployed teams. The harrowing truth is that one out of every three people in our world doesn’t have access to the gospel. We’re praying for more workers to give the least-reached opportunities to know God, and we’re asking God for more churches to passionately join us in this vision. The Lord is already answering. He’s opening up opportunities to send teams to new locations through relationships and partnerships that we didn’t have before.

Pray for the places where we are actively seeking to send teams. “Then he came to them and said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” – Matthew 9:37-38
