Temporary Housing for Earthquake Survivors in Antioch, Turkey

In a recent update, Director of Crisis Response Barb Wooler learned that two church buildings in Antioch (Antakya), Turkey, with which Encompass has a connection, completely collapsed following the early February 2023 earthquakes. Encompass is working with one of these churches, which was planted by close friends of our staff in the region.
About 13 minutes into this video from CBN News, you'll meet Elmas. She and her husband, Pastor Hamdullah, have experienced outrageous, unfathomable trauma and loss from the earthquakes that devastated Antioch. Many of their congregants and friends in the community died under the collapsed buildings.
