Former Missionary Evelyn Johnson with Jesus

On December 21, Evelyn Johnson met Jesus face to face. What an entrance into heaven that must have been after a long life of faithful ministry. George and Evelyn went to Brazil in 1960 as missionaries with the Foreign Missionary Society of the Brethren Church, now Encompass World Partners. They served there until retirement in 1993. When they retired, there was a network of churches in Brazil, one that continues to start new churches and send their own missionaries. After retirement to Wooster, Ohio, George and Evelyn continued in local ministries serving in many roles through the years. Please pray for George and their whole family as they deeply miss Evelyn.
