Budding Women’s Ministry in Western Asia
When Anna* was challenged to think about her goals for 2026, she sensed a clear nudge from God: begin preparing material to train others. As the leader of a ministry that provides tent shelters to refugees in Western Asia, Anna has so much wisdom and experience to offer.
She didn’t know how or when the training material would be used, but she knew that obedience meant starting right away. Since then, she started working with our global worker, Ivy,* to plan the coming year. To everyone’s amazement, God quickly began confirming that direction in ways none of us could have orchestrated.
Just two weeks after Anna sensed the call to start preparing training material, five believing women traveled nearly two hours to observe the program. “They were so moved by what they saw that they asked Anna to bring the program to their area,” Ivy says. “When they found out that wouldn’t be possible, they asked something even more significant: for her to train them to do it themselves!”
Now Ivy and Anna are beginning to design a training model to equip women across Western Asia to serve their own communities—not just by running meetings, but by building relationships, visiting homes, and ministering from the heart. The vision is for a relational network of “women reaching women.”
As part of her ministry, Anna facilitates a women’s program every year, and this year she’s calling it “After the Storm,” because it focuses on healing, restoration, and discovering hope after loss. Each session is intentionally designed to move women step by step from despair toward hope, gently weaving biblical truth into practical, relational care. Rather than just preaching the gospel, these women are living it out. Attendance continues to grow as women invite family members and neighbors, and the space is stretching beyond capacity.
Ask God to protect this beautiful expression of His love, to provide clarity for Anna and Ivy as they develop the material, and for many women to find healing through their ministry. We’re so grateful to see how quickly God is confirming Anna’s obedience. Thanks for standing with her as this next chapter unfolds.
