Encounter Columbus


North America, Short-Term

Would you like to experience missions over a three-day weekend? Encounter Columbus provides you with a deeper understanding of cultures and religions. You will learn how to cross cultural barriers with the hope of the gospel.  While your passion and knowledge to live on-mission for Jesus grows, you will become more solid in your biblical worldview. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in local outreach through impactful ministry on the ground. Experiencing Columbus’s diversity shows you God’s heart for the nations and reveals that there are people who don’t know the Lord right in front of you—you don’t have to cross the world to cross cultures! This trip is ideal for churches, youth groups, small groups, colleges, individuals, and families.

July 31-August 2, 2026

The cost depends on the Encounter length you choose:

  • $90 for the weekend
  • $55 for Saturday only
This includes your stay at Grace Polaris Church, your own copy of the book Discovering Global Missions, two daily meals, and an Encounter T-shirt, plus staff costs and administrative fees. Costs are estimated and do not include transportation and remaining meals. Prices may fluctuate from year to year. Individuals and groups will receive an invoice based on the number of participants. Participants are encouraged to stay at Grace Polaris Church to be fully committed to the weekend experience.
