No region on earth has had the depth of investment and breadth of Encompass workers as several francophone countries in central Africa. Decades of involvement have resulted in widespread impact and fruit in Cameroon, Chad, and especially Central Africa Republic. As national leaders have increased and churches have multiplied, the number of Encompass workers has eventually declined. Now we primarily work in partnership and through ministry initiatives with leading African believers. Those Encompass efforts are led and coordinated by American and French staff members who have deep experience in Africa. The range of ministries covers leadership training, pioneer church planting among least reached peoples, children’s education, evangelistic resources, compassion and crisis response, medical efforts, literacy work, small business opportunities, and more. We thank God for the spiritual effects of decades of labor, knowing that much opportunity remains to meet practical needs and, especially, to help our brothers and sisters present many thousands of believers mature in Christ.
