Since the 1990s, the School of Evangelism in Chad has trained hundreds of central Africans in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, sparking the birth of numerous churches and Points of Light across Chad and neighboring nations. In 2012, Encompass opened the School of Missiology to further equip leaders for cross-cultural ministry. Now, these schools are moving to a newly purchased campus in N’Djamena, one of northern Africa’s most strategic cities, to better serve future leaders.
While the first phase of construction has been a tremendous success, as students have begun settling into the new facility, it became apparent that a key provision was missing. Bathrooms were not included on the second floor near student sleeping quarters. Many of the adult students are finding it difficult to navigate stairs at night—with little or no lighting—to reach the current outdoor facilities. Some have expressed discomfort, and many are reluctant to use the facilities at night due to safety concerns.
To address this need, we are seeking to raise $17,825 to install toilets on the second floor of the ESEM building. This addition will ensure that students have safe and convenient access to restrooms, especially during the night, allowing them to focus on their training to take the gospel to the least reached across Africa.
Will you consider contributing to this project? Your gift will make a lasting impact by ensuring that these dedicated evangelists can continue their important work unhindered. Together, we can help equip these leaders as they bring the light of Christ to those who need Him most.
