We now have over 3,000 local churches across Africa, but not even enough pastors to serve half of them. And many of those pastors only have minimal training. That’s the current reality for the Charis Alliance in central Africa. Africans have started Bible schools, ministry training centers, and a seminary to help meet these needs, but the need goes far beyond their current capacity.
A team based in Yaounde, Cameroon is seeking to develop leadership training models that fit the African culture and equip their pastors and church leaders for effective ministry. Developed alongside African pastors in Cameroon, these models could impact churches throughout Central Africa.
Do you have training in theology and ministry experience? Do you love encouraging and training leaders to become even more effective in ministry? Are you ready to learn French and learn about African culture? In addition to trainers with these skills, this team needs someone skilled in organizing training sessions, connecting people with opportunities, and managing the many details of a growing ministry.
