In 2008 Encompass partnered with Charis Alliance churches in Chad to build a local surgical center known as the Gadjibian Hospital. It opened in 2009 and quickly developed such a good reputation that people came from as far away as Cameroon to receive medical care. As an evangelical outreach ministry using healthcare as a means to reach people, they intentionally keep their fees low, which means their profit margins are thin. Whenever they face a significant unexpected expense, it can cause real financial hardship. They are currently facing such a situation with the need for new beds, a new generator, and new electrical system. Why not give today to help our partners in Africa use medical care to reach people for Jesus?
